"We will steal what we cannot buy, when all is stole from us" -The Sisters of Mercy, On the Beach
Krennic blue was the control deck to beat in the previous set. Annoying and stable as hell, it really profited from the cool tools blue villainy got. Still, it failed to really dominate the top tournament standings mostly because it could be meta-ed against with all around goodnessand credit hate and could be rushed or outperformed in the late rounds.
Personally, I've always played the good director with cunning, a pet peeve from the first time i tore up an MtG beta booster and got that glorious enchantment called control magic. Nothing beats warming up the Outer Rim's Cold Trade with the other player's units. The pyramids didn't build themselves, slavery gets shit done :)
Without further ado, here's the current template I'm working on:
This is a baseline version, can easily experiment with alternate setups, with Backed by the Hutts being the easiest card to part with (but great against mirror / blue matches because it gives you one credit ramp and board on T2), but the ingredients are all there. Exact receipe is up to you :)
If you find something that works consistently better, let's hear about it!
