Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea
I was eagerly expecting a light civ-area-control game from GMT. Instead, my first encounter was so disappointing that I can find no reason to give it a second look.

The first game of the evening was Ancient Civilizations of the Inner Sea, and I came in ready to love it. GMT, with the promise of something light between a civilization game and area control? That sounds exactly like the kind of game I want to put on the table.
Except that promise gave me absolutely nothing. Where I expected a light civ-area-control game with some meaning, I found an ameritrash piece of garbage on Munchkin’s level: no substance and no reason to exist.
For me, it is not even worth the quality of the paper it was printed on. STUSFURNUS.
