Bärenpark
Bärenpark is a pleasantly accessible polyomino game for children aged 6–7, simple enough for them to play on their own. For more experienced players, though, even the advanced mode leaves rather little room for genuine interest.

We tried it as part of the youngster’s gaming education, following a recommendation from his godfather, and I can see why it works as a children’s choice. It is one of those games that does not make you wrestle with rules or exceptions: children can grasp it and run it by themselves.
Its core is placing polyomino pieces. You choose and place your tiles, trying to fit them neatly so that your park develops without leaving you with awkward gaps.
The only meaningful thought I found lies in managing the flow of tiles you take. There is a small dilemma in what comes next and how you will use it, but the interaction does not seem to support much tension or depth.
In the end, it is a good recommendation for ages 6–7 and does what it promises without any fuss. For other gamers, though, even in advanced mode, it felt far too simple and of very limited interest.
