It is as heavy as the rumours say; the kind of box that asks for space, time, and a little of the patience one usually saves for a Tuesday after work.
Still, it earns that effort. Beneath the weight is a game that proved thoroughly enjoyable and genuinely interesting: not light relief, but the sort that keeps you properly present at the table. Quietly excellent, provided you give it the chance it asks for.
