After several attempts to find the right table for it, we finally managed it right at the last minute. Pendragon: The Fall of Roman Britain is one of those games you do not casually pull out for a quick session; it needs its moment, its group, and the right willingness to sit down with it properly.
Yes, it really is as heavy as the rumours say. Its weight does not hide for even a moment, and it demands attention from everyone at the table.
Even so, the experience was very enjoyable and genuinely interesting. This was one of those occasions where the demanding nature of the game did not push me away, but instead made the session feel even more special once we finally got to experience it.
A proper article will follow soon, because this is a game I want to revisit with more time and calm. Until then, have a great summer and enjoy your swims!
