Snowdonia: Deluxe Master Set
Snowdonia: Deluxe Master Set is a quick, old-school euro with incredible scenario variety and replayability. The deluxe edition makes it feel like an excellent purchase for anyone who wants to keep coming back to it.

Deluxe Snowdonia is very much on the same wavelength as Edge: a game with a strong, classic euro feel, but presented in an edition packed with content. I really like the idea of getting such an old and important worker-placement game in a package with countless different scenarios to try.
At its core, it remains the “grandfather” of worker placement. It is quick and direct without losing its strategic side.
Its greatest strength is that the scenarios demand different approaches if you want to get ahead. It is not enough to repeat the same formula every time: each one pushes you to adapt your strategy.
Of course, the game does show its age a little. That does not stop it from being a very enjoyable, quick euro, especially when its scenario variety gives it such enormous replayability.
For me, the Deluxe Master Set offers fantastic value for money. It is the sort of edition that makes you want it on your shelf and makes you return to it again and again, each time for a different challenge.
