Talon
Talon is quick and enjoyable in battle, but a standalone skirmish does absolutely nothing for me. Its real value seems to lie in a short campaign, provided someone is willing to set one up.

We played another battle so Hida could see it, with none of the Talon 1000 extras. My first impression held: it is nice, fast, and flows without holding you hostage at the table.
As a standalone skirmish, though, I cannot find a reason to choose it. The battle ends quickly, but to me it does not leave enough weight or interest behind to make me want to repeat it. There are much better systems for exactly that purpose.
Where Talon changes character is in a campaign. Because a game does not drag on, two people with a bit of consistency can set one up and run it over two or three months, meeting once every couple of weeks. In that format, the game's speed is not merely convenient; it is the thing that lets the system really hit hard.
So yes: I can see it having a lot to offer as a fast campaign system. I just do not think I will ever be in the position to organise something like that, so Talon remains, for me, a game with a clear use but not enough of a pull to make me pursue it.
