Commands & Colors: Napoleonics

Back to our beloved blocks and dice that make us cry, this time with the epic Waterloo. As happens to anyone who has their C&C loose like I do, it took us longer to set up than to play, without that meaning the experience was bad. Very decent brawling, a nice and epic battle…

Commands & Colors: Napoleonics

Back to our beloved blocks and dice that make us cry, this time with the epic Waterloo. As happens to anyone who has their C&C loose like I do, it took us longer to set up than to play, without that meaning the experience was bad. Very decent brawling, a nice and epic battle, the only thing that annoyed me a bit was that we played 4, a number that the rules do not support very well. Better 2 or 6 in these cases I think – but in any case much better to play and have your son flatten you with incredible cannon rolls than to watch them gather dust. I have not played as much as I would like in order to be able to judge how much the latest expansion improves the game or not, but it seemed to me that the new set of cards is more balanced in general. We will return to it, I hope.

  • Review Thesauros

If you’re not playing anyway, why not go fishing? A game that slipped away from the temple’s procurement department, but ended up in the collection of the other cardboard collector in the group, who, together with the now-viral little rules-explanation hand, proceeded to serve us a seafood menu. Basically, Thesauros…
